Today we are highlighting the lovely redwood Hollcroft residence in Portland OR. Designed by Giulietti Schouten Architects, the redwood exterior acts as a natural heat regulator and brings much more than mere form factor to the house. A high ceiling and an open floor plan bring an airy and spacious appeal even as neutral hues merge seamlessly with the warm wooden surfaces. An ergonomic kitchen and a modern dining space are visually connected with the living area and the top floor sports the private quarters.
