This lovely early treasure designed by John Lautner in 1949 is in the Verdugo Hills area of Los Angeles.I t is an architectural classic that both Frank Gehry and Frank Escher both count among their absolute favorite homes. Hidden in a wooded valley at the foot of the Verdugo Mountains, this masterpiece made of redwood, concrete, and glass opens to the oak forest that influenced much of the form and function of the design.
