This piece suggests a sun, or a windmill, or a pinwheel. The top is slotted into the post on which it sits, so it is easily removable, as is the post from its 4 X 4 steel post anchor. It is treated with Cabot Bleaching Oil, which gives it a fair approximation of the silver color that it will eventually mature into. As all-heart redwood, it will last indefinitely outdoors.
